Calculating your next month salary based on Bonus??

Hi there,

Please forgive me if i have posted in incorrect forum.

I got told today that I was in line for a 3k bonus this month (last financial year) - which i was chuffed about. I was also told that I am getting a 20% pay rise (25 to 30k) - again, very chuffed on this as well.

My question is this.

What could I expect to get in my wage packet this month (after tax and ni) - no pension etc

I do not know if i will be on the 30k salary this month or next month ... so I worked out, based on the assumption that I was on 30k, my take home pay would be 3,673.41.

I arrived at this figure, based on a salary of 66k (3k a month by 12, plus 30k)

(i used the i-resign site to get the figures)

Just wanted to be nosey as to what to expect :-) Also what would it be if i was on 25k? :-)
