Career choices

Right now im going through a stage where I REALLY dont know what I want to do with my life (career wise).
I have a job and I am just fed up of it, it just feels like a job and nothing else but im not going to quit my job because i cant be bothered until I find something else that I can do.
Im 22 right now and didnt end up doing any A-Levels exams after completing the year as I had so much going on but its never too late eh?
So id have to go back and do my A-Levels or just the exams if my old college would allow me o an access course then apply for uni!
I know there are programs that you can do that can ask you questions and based on your questions, give you answers as to what careers might be suited to you, does anyone know where I can do one of these quiz's?

Your local college should have an offer for 19-25 year olds where if you havent got level 3 qualifications (a-levels) then you can study for free.0

You looking to go back to do a degree or short courses or what??
Iv been doing some research so I feel like a fountain of knowledge right now:j, just let me know what you want to know'Sometimes you just need to keep your mouth shut':j0 -
Here's an NHS one http://www.stepintothenhs.nhs.uk/take-the-test.aspx
it actually did come up with my job for me0 -
I'm thinking of doing something similar (applying to do a degree as a mature student). If you go on the UCAS website there is a short test called the Stamford Test which will match your skills, likes/dislikes to a range of careers and give you advice on the type of courses available and the entry requirements.
If you didn't complete A Levels but did AS levels then you may be able to get a place on a 2 year Foundation degree with the option to the 3rd year of the full course at the end to top it up to a full BA/BSc.0 -

I didnt know that!!!!
Thanks for that piece of info!!!'Sometimes you just need to keep your mouth shut':j0 -
Ive just got the local college part-time brochure and a bit disappointed there are no a-levels in there as part -time courses. and only a couple of access courses but quite specific ones!0

I have found that if you go to the direct gov website, there is a telephone number and if you call them, they will actually search the nearest colleges for you that do part time courses or evening courses.
Through direct gov, I was able to find a college where I can study for a full A-level in 1 year and doing 6 hours supervised study a week (3 hrs per evening).
Good thing is that if you are on benefits and dont have a level 3 qualification its free! The cost of the course if you already have a NVQ level 3 qualification varies from college to college.
Im not sure if I will find an access course useful. As much as I respect people that do them, I am not sure if its quite my thing only because I was told that A levels are a lot more challenging that access course. When I go to uni, I wont be given an easy ride so why settle for an easy ride doing an access course but I would not rule it out just yet!!!'Sometimes you just need to keep your mouth shut':j0 -

planitplus.net has a series of questions that can help identify a possible career route. This site is used by the careers advisers I work with.0
