Hi just reporting in spent a total of £30.76 last week but if don't count saturday was £21.96 not sure on this if count Sunday to friday where to I put Saturday Sorry my brain not working. Anyway pleased with either spend would like to pledge £20 for next week as this is necessary for my budget to work. Heres hoping
Moneytree1 (ps have posted on both threads incase old one finished.)

OK I have put you down for £21.96 for last week so you are green. The challenge runs from Sunday until end of working day of Friday. We get Saturdays off but if you are very good you can count them and do a full week budget. It really depends what works for you. If you feel you would go spending-crazy on Saturdays then count them if it helps you stay on track.

I must say I like having Friday night / Saturday off as it means I can go out and get any bits of shopping I need and means I find it easier to stick to my budget the rest of the time but everyone is different. :D

So just decide when you want your budget to run until and let us know. I will add you as £20 for this week. Hope that was not too confusing

Anyhoo for me today I spent £1.73 on a can of soup and some fruit to go with my lunch. I also bought cotton wool and dental floss (£3.84) but this comes out of the health and beauty budgetl. So total today is £1.73

Saz what are you off to see at the cinema?

Debs sorry to hear you are poorly I am only just recovering from a chesty cough myself so you have my sympathy.

This is my first weekend off since 4 months ago. I had a bad start today. I accepted a card payment for 97 pounds but I didnt know it showed transaction void at the bottom...so my manager realised at the end of the day and decided to deduct it from my wages. Whole week's worth of work is down the drain. Sigh...

That's terrible! I'm glad they didn't do this at my old job, I accepted loads of transactions like this, the system was so flawed the only way to tell on ours was checking the small print on the receipt... *hugs* for you, must be really gutting :(

    Hi all

Bless you Wolu, how awful, can they do that, take it off your wages? Keep your chin up hun.

Today have spent £6.39 today, don't think that will be it for the week, but will try to keep it under £20. Am at least working the next three days which should keep me out of the shops. Am off on fri and signing all the mortgage stuff so should be moving into our new house (first one together) in the next 6-8 weeks. :j can't wait. :j

    Have a good week all

I went to see The Hangover last night, it was sooo funny!!! I spent £3 on getting in and 50p on a hot chocolate. It's a small local cinema so lovely and cheap :-)
So £3.50 so far for me this week.
Debs hope you're feeling better really soon!

    Evening all,

Back from dinner at a friend's house and a game of scrabble. Think my spends for today are about £10 but will check my purse tomorrow hopefully I will not be too worse for wear as I have drunk the best part of a bottle of wine
