llac....you have my sincere sympathies. I don't usually eat prawns outside the house purely because I don't trust that people will have done a good enough job in stripping the black bits. Somehow I just can't see the people who prepare the fillings for M&S sarnies being too pernickity, lol.Herman - MP for all!0

OOps not quick enough - I ment cheese on the tattie! not M&S sandwich .At least with big prawns its easy to get the bit out ...if I remember correctly you pinch the very end of the tail when you shell them and the vein should come out too.I think the wee ones are blown out of the shells with a water jet.0
