Why Oh Why is it that in October I always look at this thread or other saving for xmas threads then remember that I'd signed up for it and then got the realisation that it's only 10 weeks till xmas with DS and OH's birthday in between and I'm going to have a last minute panic because I've not saved :(

I've got £198 received so far in Quidco which I have managed to not dip into since last November, so that's one thing I've done right! I've been very bad at doing the surveys so haven't much in the Amazon account, especially as I decided I 'needed' an ear thermometer when the swine flu was kicking off and spent all my gift vouchers saved up there

So far I have £203/£1000

New resolve for me today, amazon, quidco and surveys, here we come :money:

    Hello everybody!

I haven't updated my total yet. It's not been going quite as well as I would have liked, however I'm going to persevere and I figure any money I make is money that I didn't have before!

I'm not sure what the rules are about quidco money, but I have quite a few bits from things I've done on quidco since the challenge began, as follows:

    £10 Vodafone
    £40 Be Broadband
    £5 Equifax
    £20 Halifax
    £0.47 Cheap Smells
    £55 Hastings Direct
    £60 EDF Energy
    £30 American Express

They are all tracked/validated/received, so I'm hoping they will pay out before the challenge ends. Can I count them already or do I have to wait for them to pay out? If I can, my total is now £220.47.

I'm thinking of moving my broadband supplier and I'm piling things up for ebay so I hope to increase my total further soon :D Also considering moving my bank account to First Direct for £100 :D

    Hope you're all doing well.

    Gwenx
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending
