How do you wash a memory foam mattress topper?

I have googled extensively and even looked at the Tempur FAQ on their website.

Mine is an unbranded cheaper mail order version -not yet in need of a wash but just wondering about it.

    Hello Deleted_User
I've just popped upstairs to have a look at mine - also a cheaper version - & it says wash on gentle cycle & tumble dry on warm setting.
Sounds like you just treat it gently really.
  • Thanks.

Do you know if it can be dry cleaned? I would never get mine in the washing the machine.
  • hi Deleted_User,
if there's a laundrette near you i would take your topper there as their machines are a lot bigger than household ones, i take my quilt there and that's a kingsize one, try not to go at busy times though as they don't like you using their machines for one item lol.

    WOAH!!!!
Sorry I've just realised that I misread your question - I thought you'd asked about washing the mattress topper cover. The lable says very clearly that the memory foam cannot be washed.
Really sorry for misleading you, I should have read the title of your post more carefully. I'm really :o

I bought the Costco one last week - love it - but it cannot be washed - surface clean only - Only the removable cover can be washed.

  • No worries. It won't go in my machine anyway.
