just a quick question.. can hsbc arrangement fees be added to the loan?0
-
When I enquired about there 7 yr fixed £99 had to be paid upfront and the remainder could be added onto mortgage of required.0

Thanks. Do you know if the mortgage can be booked with the £99 arrangement fee whilst still looking for the property? I think once booked, the offer is valid for 6 months?0

Let HSBC do all the work, they should quote you an APR, the actual rate, allowing for charges, and based on current SVR a quote should give you the total amount paid - that will be the best way to answer, bearing in mind when you add the fee to the loan, you will pay interest on it, and whilst some of the rates are lower, it will only be until you revert to SVR - it is possible therefore a higher basic rate will be cheaper.Joe_Millionaire wrote: »Hi there,
Can someone please tell me what they think the best deal is out of these HSBC Deals.
Value 165000
Loan 106000
2 year Fixed
3.09 with £900 A/fee giving £742 Per Month,
2.89 with £1300 A/fee giving £737 Per Month,
2.49 With £2200 A/fee giving £720 Per month.
All fees will be added to the loan.
My head is going to come off or my calculator is going out the window.
Thanks:beer:0 -
You cant leave it to the APR as this will depend on the SVR of the moment and not what you will actually be on for the rest of the mortgage. Anyway when going onto a fix when the period ends you would then be looking for the best rate and would probably not stay on the svr unless the rates where incredibly low as they are present.
I would say stick the numbers onto a mortgage comparison spreadsheet cos that will do all the calcs for you. Here to help and be helped!0 -
surely all of this is a waste of time if the proposed mortgage is not within the lending criteria of the said lender.
with regard to getting a deal as good as the first direct one, no I can't but then again nor can you with those figuresHappily an ex mortgage broker!0 -
I agree with happy broker. If you cant get the mortgage you are talking about then why are you talking about it?
I can get a mortgage @ 0% interest, fixed for as long as I want with payment holidays and even cash back and no fees! all I need to do is...
If you cant get the mortgage then the first step is to find out why? Before looking at any others I would check my credit score. Here to help and be helped!0
