My complexion isn't too good at the moment. I have large pores, a few greasy spots, uneven skin tone and just feels generally yukky.
Any facial advice would be most welcomed.

I have been using a product called Dermol on my face lately. It's a bit like aqueous cream but not as rich textured. I use this to cleanse my skin and wash it off using a muslin cloth and warm water. I do this twice daily.
Then I splash with cool water & apply any moisturiser I have at hand.0 -
Im no expert but heres my two penneth worth for you.
Dermol is not one I have come across Im afraid. May be worth looking at using an exfoliator on a regular basis, you can make it yourself but I must admit I just buy some and use a couple of times a week seems to really help refresh my skin.
Fot the large pores I have just started using Boots pore refining serum and have seen a difference within a couple of weeks its not cheap but certainly seems to be doing the job for me.

I think anything would be better than your current routine!
I currently use Bliss Steep Clean Cleansing Milk and an Olay moisturiser (can't remember which one!). I also use Origins Modern Friction and Never a Dull Moment, and the Clear Improvement mask.Gone ... or have I?0 -

For cheap and effective exfoliation I recommend a weekly aspirin mask. Dissolve a couple of aspirin tablets in a few drops of water (or rosewater, chamomile tea, or any herbal water or tea you like), mix with a little honey and/or aloe vera gel, and apply on face. Relax for 10-15 mins, then wash off with warm water, scrubbing gently. Follow with a moisturiser.
Alternatively, especially if your skin is very sensitive, you can use dissolved aspirin as a scrub after your cleansing.
Aspirin contains salicylic acid - paracetamol or ibuprofen won't work!

The OCM

Why's that then?I think anything would be better than your current routine!
Perhaps it's not working too well at the moment for the OP, but it sounds very similar to the way the many of the premium brand skincare products work; products that are applied as a cream or balm then removed with a muslin cloth include Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, Eve Lom cleansing balm, the hot cloth cleanser from The Sanctuary... And the OCM, which suki mentioned, works in a similar way as well.
Water is a perfectly good toner, and although "any moisturiser I have at hand" is hardly the best way of ensuring you're using something that's right for your skin, the OP seems to have the basics (cleanse, tone & moisturise) taken care of.
