Interest rates for a 90% mortgages

Just got quoted an interest rate for a mortgage with a 10% deposit of 7.5% interest, which seems a bit over the top, they said interest rates have gone up recently, is this way above average? What's the best lender at the moment in terms of interest rates for a 90% mortgage?

Low deposit = high risk = high rate.

You should be able to find cheaper though.

Just spotted the furness bs one, which looks low 5%, the next ones is probably britania bs which is 6%, any problems with these?

5% is pretty good - also looks like rates on on the climb again
