Starbucks short cappuccino

Just heard on Radio 5 Live that if you ask for a "short" whatever - cappuccio, latte etc, in Starbucks, they'll give you a smaller, apparently better tasting coffee, for less. It's mentioned in this article : http://www.slate.com/id/2133754/?nav=ais which is about the US, but apparently it works in the UK as well.
I'm not a massive Starbucks coffee fan, but would be interested if anyone tries this successfully.
PS You can also get a "Babyccino" for 50p in Costa Coffee, which is hot milk topped with frothed milk and a shake of choccy dust - keeps the little kiddies off your own coffee for a short while at least!

Good story WestEndGirl.
Basically you get the same amount of coffee(1 shot) but less milk, hence the drink is stronger. May not suit people who prefer weak coffee.
For a really strong drink just have an espresso and it's cheaper. Here you get 1 shot and no milk or the double espresso is 2 shots.
