Starbucks short cappuccino

Options
Just heard on Radio 5 Live that if you ask for a "short" whatever - cappuccio, latte etc, in Starbucks, they'll give you a smaller, apparently better tasting coffee, for less. It's mentioned in this article : http://www.slate.com/id/2133754/?nav=ais which is about the US, but apparently it works in the UK as well.
I'm not a massive Starbucks coffee fan, but would be interested if anyone tries this successfully.

PS You can also get a "Babyccino" for 50p in Costa Coffee, which is hot milk topped with frothed milk and a shake of choccy dust - keeps the little kiddies off your own coffee for a short while at least! :)

    Good story WestEndGirl.

Basically you get the same amount of coffee(1 shot) but less milk, hence the drink is stronger. May not suit people who prefer weak coffee.

For a really strong drink just have an espresso and it's cheaper. Here you get 1 shot and no milk or the double espresso is 2 shots.
