i have found something of value in my loft ... want to trace owner elsie mary wallis ( once of 89 new rd brixham in 1950's) best way to find her? may of lived in gloucestershire may well be in 70's now, does anyone have a granny called elsie maiden name wallis if so i have found something special, from an old house in gloucestershire... hope to re unite it.

I agree, a local rag may well be interested to run a small article as well if you contact them. Only last week there was a small story (just a couple of paragraphs and a photo) in my local paper about wedding photos found in the drawer of a cabinet bought from a junk shop. The photos had a local photographers name on them and the name of the couple on the back and a date in the 1960s so the local ran a small 'do you know these people' article.
