Maintainance stopped

I've tried to search.... but i'm not getting anywhere.... sorry for probably repeated question:D

However... My friend works and her maintanence from her ex has stopped (he doesn't see his son and they do not communicate). She has called the CSA and has told her it is something to do with him claiming benefits.

Does anyone know why CSA payments might stop?

Thanks in advance

If he is claiming benefits he will not be liable to pay benefits or probably just a token amount to keep the claim open.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
