Anyone been to Matalan yet? What's the sale like? I thought it would've been online too but no0

I went at 9.00am this morning and can away empty handed. I was looking for newborn baby clothes and boys clothes age 2-3. There was nothing in the sale. Didn't look at the women's clothing as I'm pregnant and don't want to buy anymore 'maternity' clothes.0

I've just come back from my local, and it was a complete waste of time. Hardly any sale items and nothing special. I'm glad I didn't make a special trip:j30/7/10:j

It definately started today in Sutton and a lot of things were half price. I bought 2 very nice swimming costumes and there were some nice tops but also quite a lot of tat.:j0

Couldn't get to the sale today but going by the last few posts, I'm glad I didn't bother. It's a 12 mile trip and I am after baby gear too, so I thought --- online!. You guesed it - no sale online!
I think Matalan has a very poor website anyway considering how big it is.0 -
Definatley not worth bothering. None of the descent summer stuff was in the sale just of load of old tat. Normally I spend loads in Matalan sale so I was really disappointed. The only bikinis were all horrendous and ok if you're a size 22 bottom and a size 8 top! All the descent bikinis still full price.:happylove Sammy0

I didn't look at the womenswear section today, but the kidswear had loads at half price, including baby Disney, girls HSM, Hannah Montana, glittery pumps, nightdresses etc.
Every section seemed to have several half price rails.
I could have spent loads on my DD, but I'll wait until it goes to 75% off or more (thats when I usually stock up on her tops etc for next year).

I went along especially (didn't really have the time), not much on offer really.
I bought a baby sunhat reduced from £2 to £1, a pair of ladies trousers at normal price and a bag for £4 reduced from £8.
Wasn't worth the effort for me.
