These are normally £49.70
PC World have them at £4.97 - this appears to be a boo-boo with the system - "Collect at Store" only - I have ordered one to collect shortly
Don't know what the law says about mispriced items - I have a confirmation email - "contract" ?
and PCWorlds website confirms this

"All Collect@Store sales take place in our stores. Sales are therefore subject to our usual in store Terms and Conditions and the Manager's discretion. However, provided you bring your Collect@Store print out and/or reference number with you, our store will supply the goods at the online price which applied when you chose to Collect@Store - this may be cheaper than the usual in store price!"

    Expired.

The V3 ones sell for £10-£20 usually. Never £49.70 that's for sure! £4.97 ends in .97, so it's a discontinued item on clearance.

Even the V4 mini-USB ones sell for about £20 in the real world.

As for 'what the law says', they don't have to sell you this item just because you have reserved it. No contract formed, sorry (and you weren't given the opportunity to attempt to pay for it online either anyway).

If they've got the item in stock when you get there (and a memeber of staff hasn't 'mislaid' it), they WILL sell it to you for £4.97, so don't worry about that.

I would worry about the item not actually existing when you go to collect it though - that's quite normal.

Where can you get the USB version for under £20?

Amazon usually (that's where I got mine), but I see they are all above £20 at the moment, except for the phono plug type, like the OP's:
