I thought about joining an online dating thing, till I saw my dad's credit card statement and couldn't believe how much it cost. Then again, apparantly that was a year when I'd assumed it was a month. Although I think it'd be a bit weird looking for someone in the same place as my dad..
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    wow - 96% - well done!!

Just been to see my boy and had a big cuddle with him. We got a bit damp but we missed the rain but it's now really horrible out there.

Been feeling a bit sad about something today, not sure why :(

Do you know what the something is? or just generally feeling sad?

    Evening...
Hugs to everyone that needs them today (will have one for myself too if thats ok) Have decided today that there are quite few things in my life that I need to sort out and I really have to get on with it. Went out to lunch with my 94yr old Grandmother today which was hard work as she constantly repeats herself (bit like myself when drunk ;) )

Bookie have been thinking about you today
Maz, fab that Erin loves the house!
Buffy...where were you last night to get so drunk?
BB, can we help at all with your sadness?

:grouphug: to everyone that needs one....Sally, Bookie, BB Maz everyone...

DD - well done on the essay.....I knew you could do it.

I am now resigned to the fact that OH is going through one of his serious depressive phases...One that usually ends up with me on Prozac cause he refuses to be treated....he hasn't had one for a while so I should be grateful but when he is like this its a great strain on the family. If I am not on here for a while its because its difficult to get on to post when he is like this.

At the moment he thinks he has nothing to look forward to which rightly or wrongly I find a very selfish attitude to have. I know its probably down to mental illness but I find it pretty hard to take.

DD1 is home, with iron tablets and orders to rest.....her diet is crap so no surprise there...

Sammy Hun, when people are like that it makes it very hard for the rest of the family to live with. My dad suffered with manic depression for years and as a child it wasn't much fun but my mum has since told me exactly how it was for her . You need to try and keep yourself sane though and don't let it bring you down too (easier said than done when you're getting it in the ear)

Glad DD is ok, stress isn't going to help her so probably good she is moving out (and it will be somewhere you can go to to take refuge if need be!)

Is he back at his mothers this week or still at home?

Hugs Sammy hun you sound as if you need them more than me :grouphug:

Hugs to all those who need it tonight.

I'm home alone as Mr SS has gone out drinking on this stag-do - he wasn't going to go as he has to be up at 5am  Oh well, I can lie in tomorrow :p His brother and his girlfriend are somewhere, so I've got the house to myself.

Back from the 'all you can eat buffet' and feeling sooo full. Didn't actually do it justice for the price of it but I wasn't paying so I don't care!

Sorry to hear that so many of you are going through rough times at the moment, one way or another.

I find that too, but somehow we just keep going and get through it don't we?

Hugs to all that need them

I just had to pop out for milk and passed a bunch of smartly dressed 60-70 yr old ladies wearing pink bunny ears and one of them had a veil - hen night! sounds naff but it just looked really sweet!
