Piece work from home

I am looking to build my christmas money up and remember helping my mum out putting crackers together, tagging socks and other stuff at home.

I understand that you can still do this from places such at Boots and others delivering piece work to your home and then picking it back up. Does anyone know a number the I can contact to be able to do this as I can't find anything on the internet without having to pay first.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kelly :p

I find this to be highly unlikely sadly. I would have thought that the first chance a big company could get with this type of work, is to farm it off overseas where the labour costs are a fraction to that of the UK.
  • It does exist but you have to search it out. Ring Boots and ask them.

Crackers employ people in Feb as they need to get their stock sorted well before Xmas.

    Try factories for assembly work.

Unfortunately there is no magic website or number to call - just grab a phone book and ring round lots of companies.

Jenny she is asking about something other than the products you try and promote on nearly all your threads. Most of your last 10-15 posts are trying to get people PM you after you have hijacked threads with something totally irrelevant.

Yes but I also promote other companies as well as offering advice on things I have tried in the past such as Kleeneze. I don't generally suggest people pm me - people will if they want to.
As for piece work I used to love helping my mum do this when I was a kid and tried looking for such work myself when I was older but couldn't find any genuine companies unfortunately :( It's easy work and great for mums/dads with pre-school kids but just can't find any good ones these days :( Too many blinkin factories so not so needed now.
I do enjoy party plan - it works for me and many others but there are many either types of jobs out there, I've just found this type of work better for me and I suggest it to people for that reason but everyone has got a choice. It's nice for people to know what's out there - I was certainly happy when I came across suggestions for what I now do but again people can choose to investigate further or not. I don't pm people either because I find that intrusive - that's why I suggest and it's a person's choice if they wish to find out more.

    Hi Kelly,

If you have any local printers near you? It might be worth popping in to see if they do outwork. I have one near me who advertised in my local newsagents for outworkers, it usually involves placing scented sheets into envelopes for drawers and wardrobes.
