Sure the workers at these factories will be made up at deflating prices....0 -
I find that I can only worry about stuff I understand, and any phrase involving the words 'deflationary' and 'vortex' are, by definition, too confusing for me. Thus no real concern.
I vote for the cheaper petrol and I'll chance my arm in the vortex.
Come to something when we call $60 a barrel and £1 a litre for petrol deflationary  What price was petrol when the fuel protestors were about ? was it about 80p a litre?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Thats like so yesterday though innit.
Was like 50 million billion years ago. Or 10, roughly.

I'm sorry but lower fuel prices is like manna from heaven for me....
Oh and I don't have a job but do have a car, I have to have a car wether working or not! In the winter, it could make the difference between putting the heating on for an hour to warm ourselves up.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Blimey Halight, are you on a personal mission to break the 'most links posted on this board in one day' award?
Just so you know, Brit1234 posted 42 articles in one day on the downfall of BTL, all with massive red fonts, pictures and lots of

On the price of petro Well it dont really bother me how much it costs as the doctors took my lienece off me a few years ago.
The only thing that afcets me with the oil price is the costs of the goods i buy in the shops. Oil goes up costs of goods goes up:mad::jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
There is an interesting point here though.
Fuel prices increased drastically last year, as oil was over $140 a barrel. We're now at $60 a barrel. I take that we've had a duty rise, but why haven't fuel costs come down yet? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I'd like to know the answer to this as well.
Cheers.0 -
We have seen a cut from 120 - 2 factors stopped it from being more - oil is priced in USD and cable has fallen a lot and of course main issue is that most of the price is tax - price of the actual fuel is just 'noise' in comparison.
Why is it called cable?I think....0 -
Because the data and transaction details used to be transmitted via a cable across the atlantic.0
