Who says being green isn't glam?
Clear out your cupboards, donate to Oxfam and get £10 off at M&S. Bonus!

All you need to do is recycle your unwanted clothes at Oxfam and you'll get money off new ones at M&S.
So not only can you look glam but someone benefits from your old clothes
GOING GREEN, EASY AS 1.2.3
1. Rummage through your wardrobe, drawers, under the bed for all those clothes* you no longer wear.
2. Take your unwanted items - including at least one item from Marks & Spencer - to your nearest Oxfam store, along with the completed coupon in this weekends Fabulous.
3. Head to M&S with your £10 voucher and redeem it when you spend £50 or more on clothing, home or beauty products before August 15, 2009.
Hope it will be of use to some of you, and hope it is ok for me to post it in today's thread.0 -

M&S with your £10 voucher and redeem it when you spend £50 or more on clothing, home or beauty products .
Am I the only one who thought M&S and Oxfam have had this "offer" on for years now?
There was never a coupon to complete, I thought it was just take your old stuff to Oxfam inc some thing from M&S and get a 'spend and save' voucher as such.
I must admit I have never bothered even getting the voucher, 'cos I never spend over £50 in one go at M&S.
Most of my clothes come from the charity shops themselves, car boot sales and ebay.......all together now....Arrrrhhhhhh.
Just call me second hand rose
Just managed to dig this out from MSE archives, but I think there have been several threads on the topic over time....

Still an excellent idea though, and well done to M&S for thinking green and supporting Oxfam ,:T also to kathie1101 for posting ( and all the others;))0 -

THE OLD BAG's post is not quite correct. Yes, there has been an offer on at Oxfam for several years in return for M&S clothes, but Oxfam used to only give you £5 off, and it was off a lower spend (£35 I think). So the offer of £10 off is a new offer - and a better deal. With £10 off a £50 (or over) spend, remember you will only be parting with £40 (minimum amount). And M&S clothing, though pricey, is renowned for it's quality and durability.0 -

It should work OK, voucher and offer combining is usually fine in M&S AFAIK. I have used 2 different vouchers at once in there before, and one of them was the normal Oxfam '£5 off £35'.
One tip I would suggest if hoping to combine vouchers and worrying about being trouted by a jobsworth SA (M&S do have a few, I found one last year but that's a different story) would be for you to deliberately take your basket to a different clothing desk to pay.
So, if buying Women's clothes, deliberately pay at the men's clothing desk (if asked just say the queue was long and someone suggested you come here...). The point is you should find staff who are less familiar with all the t&cs on the Women's clothing voucher, and hopefully more likely to just scan 'em. It has worked for me more than once; the tills will scan them.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Voucher for a free energy monitor and standby strip for over 70's and those on qualifying benfits, expires 30/09/09, also available online, go to (see barneydog's link) and enter code EF2
I have just successfully applied for this, I'm not a BGas customer but am eligible even though the only benefit I receive is Disability Living Allowance. Council tax benefit and working tax credit also give eligibility, as do other benefits.
Possbly this is off-topic, but must be worth highlighting - I almost missed it, except I was intrigued about the "standby strip" - had my imagination going :rotfl:0
