Hello all
I have enjoyed reading everyones diaries, and think everyone is doing great. So i decided i need to start doing something great.
I started doing the pay off 20,000ish challenge in december and was doing really well, until the end of march!! Actually everything i was doing to get to where i want was going well until then!
BUT...i fell off the life sorting wagon big time.
Now i am ready to get back on the wagon, because i have goals i want to reach before i hit 40. 5 years time!!
I think a diary is a good idea so i can keep on top of what i am doing, and will make more effort cos im writing it down for people to read
A quick background....i am 35, and embarassingly live back with my mum, mainly cos i had an alcohol problem for 10 years and it was the safest place for me to get sober. that was 2 years ago and im still there because i cant afford to move out. The drinking has alot to do with how i got the debt.
I work fulltime and can manage to pay the minimum payments, but it will take me over 75 years to pay off one of my CCs doing that
I have about 8000 on CC and 9500 in loans.
Sorry its not the most interesting read but writing it down has helped me see it for what it is and have more of an idea of what i need to do.
Im going to put a detailed list down of income and outgoings, and work out how much more i need to be bringing in to get rid of my debts much quicker than 75 yrs!!
Thanks for reading this, especially if uve managed to get to the end
I find it hard to stick to things, so im going to kick myself up the bottom to stick to keeping this diary and getting rid of the debt so i can live in mallorca, buy a vw camper and so on.....:D
I am now stopping my waffle!!!!

Get right back onto that £20,000 challenge thread - there is still 5 months to go and although you probably won't make the full £20k in that time you can reduce your target to £10k and aim for that instead!!
Also, get onto the £10 a day challenge thread - a huge amount of money for a bit of extra effort!
And you will get where you want to be - far sooner than 75 years!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
