    Hiya,

Just thought i'd let you know that if your using a moses basket or small cradle you can use pillow cases as sheets, they are fantastic and dont slip off, and you can get the cheap ones from asda (smart price £1.69ish for a pack of two) and once you are finished with them you can then use them as normal / spare pillowcases.

Oh you can use them as pram sheets too.

The choice is yours as to whether you use flanallette, terry towelling or polly/cotton pillowcases. Eitherway at least they will be reusable when the baby has outgrown the first stage bed which doesnt take long from my memory.

Boots also are doing a 3 for 2 on their childrens bedding, certainly here in Dundee so it might be worth a look.

    Hope this helps.

Have you got access to a sewing machine?

If so buy supermarket value sheets, cut them to size and stitch the hems in. It's dead easy to do and you'll save loads compared with buying cot sheets.

You can also do the same with blankets, but someone bought me mine so I didn't attempt that!
Here I go again on my own....
