Bannatynes cancellation policy

Hi All,

My missus has a membership with Bannatynes health club and has done for two years plus, shes just phoned to cancel and they insist that she gives three months notice,is this legally enforcable? I would of thought in the first year some sort of cancellation policy would apply, but after two years surley you should be able to just walk away?

Has she got any contracts? It will say in there...I think companies can specify their own rules on this so long as it's contractual?
