Next returns policy? holes in shoes

I bought my boy some Next shoes 6 weeks ago, he 3 years old and has worn them probably 3 days a week, 2 of them indoors at nursery.

The sole has worn through at the edge so there is a gap and I presume will let in water if he went out in the rain.

I cant find the receipt, but have the date and paid by card.

Will they exchange?

Also the shoes were ordered in, and I dont want to be without shoes till the new ones come in, will they order the new pair and let me swap the others when the new ones are in stock? Normally you have to pay when you order.

Have taken shoes back to next before without a problem. I had the receipt but if they are clearly marked as Next the only problem I can see if proving date of purchase. I wouldn't be buying the same ones again because you might have the same problem again. Clarks sale is on just now take him there he'll never know the difference.

Thanks, I'll try my luck tomorrow. I can't believe how bad the shoes are! 2nd pair of shoes I have bought from there, the others were boots for myself & the heel was completely crooked!
I normally buy his shoes from Clarks, and have bought 'doodles' style shes from Primark just to wear in the garden and both have always been grown out of before they were worn out!
Not happy as I thought Next were supposed to be good quality!

you dont need a receipt if the item is faulty and you are entitled to a full refund

They fobbed me off with a refund card, then let me order another pair. Stuck with no shoes for a week till they come went to 2 Clarks' to find better shoes but sold out in his size!

Gna get 1 up on Next hopefully, if shoes go into sale on Sat, will return & rebuy @ sale price when I collect! Only fair me thinks! :beer:
