Uses for cotton scraps?

Options
I've got some bits of old sheeting left over from my sofa cover project which are basically just bits of rags.

Are there any possible uses for them? Will anyone recycle them? Or do I just have to throw them away?

    Hi,
Most charity shops have a "rag man" who gives money for rags.
    Please ask the shop first!

Do you want to use them in something crafty? If so, thsi thread on using up scraps will help :D

If you want to just recycle them, your LA recycle centres should take it.

I just want to get rid of them really, although I'll check the link out in case I can make anything for the baby with them.
