In fairness, I do miss the level and depth of debate with the good bear posters, and there were many. I also miss the many half finished debates we all had going on there. I don't miss the blatant trolling of a few hardcore bears who never seemed to get sanctioned for it though.

I thought about contacting the mods to discuss and see if there was a way to compromise, but that would seem pointless as the moderator-admitted point of troll status-ing all the main bulls was so newbies "knew they had no veracity". :rolleyes: I'm not sure how that can be reconciled with an open exchange of ideas and free debate, but there you go.

Mod approval for posts means censorship and suppression of bull views, and anyway waiting hours for them to go through eliminates real time debate. Take us off mod pre-approval and we'll no doubt come back, troll status or no. Which is probably why they are not doing so...

A one sided debate is no debate at all, but good luck with the back slapping.;)

Hope to see some of the better posters pop in over here from time to time for a decent debate.

All the prolific bulls got their posts put on mod approval, and changed to troll status. Pointless being unable to post in real time, which is obviously the point.

for about the 30 seconds the mods left it on the main page before consigning it to back forum death.

Had it been left up, I'd be fairly confident it would have ended up about 65% for free speech, 30% for continued censorship, and 5% unsure.

But then I was always 90% sure the mods on there were fair and even handed till we all got binned with no notice or warning, so what the h3ll do I know....:rotfl:

Assuming house prices are going to crash for a good while yet, it might be sensible to hold all your posts, and the other trolls, for a period of about five years.
