I hope you guys appreciate how much hearing one anothers stories bolsters confidence and courage in others...
Thanks guys for all your kinds words and support re my situation, it means a lot... and i know i'll be leaning on you all in the weeks/months to come if that's okay?
Good luck for tonight Red, y'know we're all here for you. good that you're bolt hole-ing off to a chums for the weekend. Y'know it makes sense.
You are so right Maz, I was thinking last night how amazing it is on here - the way that everyone supports each other in so many different ways, from getting together to do things like the Leeds run, to helping out with big huge life-changing events. I've not even met any of you but you all inspire me.
I'm still going to be a nervous wreck tonight but I'll get there!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Me and OH mmmmmm funny situation.
I was worn out and drained yesterday and he knows he is in the wrong so now he is trying to make up for it...but to be honest, I am really cross and fed up with the way he has behaved.
I don't know whether its me being over sensitive but he keeps saying stupid things and I am like why would you say that?
I have just asked him to keep an ear out on the door for the shopping coming that I did online last night and he just said you go from one extreme to the other..When I asked him what he meant he said you go from being (mumbled something) to superwoman. So he implied I was a lazy cow before! Thats how I took it anyway....
I do this stuff every week - he is just not here to see it. When I object to the things he says I am 'blowing things out of proportion'.
In the grand scheme of things its not a massive drama...its just getting on my nerves...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Chin up Sammy. Hopefully he'll be working away next week. Do I need to post Snow White?
Spud, I nearly told him where to stick his books but he drinks in the local pubs and I don't want my name to be mud in my local area.0 -
He will sit in the pub and go do you know that bookseller down the road, she never sold any of my books - man sitting next to him will turn round and say 'thats cos they were shoite mate!'
You could keep hold of snow white till we see you next, it won't be long - you have other things to do ......travel insurance!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I actually welled up a bit then Maz, thank you, there are some really inspirational people on here (you included - you made me go for my first run :T, and your rapidly increasing speed makes me work harder!), and I wouldn't have got through my break up without you all. There were some really awful times, and I still have days when I think 'this is all so hard', but I've never doubted that I made the right decision. It feels like a new start, and despite the odd man-related trauma, I'm happy.
Stu is really happy with his new gf, and the fact that I'm happy for him and hope it works out MUST mean it was the right thing to do, because if I had any doubts, I would be feeling twinges of jealousy, I'm sure."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
