Ilford/Essex 80th Birthday Venue
Hi, I've moved this from the " I wanna" board in the hope of getting some more local knowledge/expertise...
We are trying to arrange an 80th birthday party/dinner for my mother. The venue needs to be in reach of Ilford, Essex where several elderly guests will be coming from, and also not too far from Stansted (quite a few guests flying in). We anticipate dinner (+entertainment?) for 100-120 guests. Because people will be coming from long distances it also needs to have accommodation (or be near to decent accomodation). Unfortunately I don't live in the area and trying to do it on the web is a bit "needle in a haystack". Can anyone recommend any venues/restaurants/hotels that would fit the bill?
Affordability is a question but I'm aware that there may not be many money saving options--- but she's a lovley lady who has never asked for much from anyone and we really want to give her an occasion to remember. Any advice would be gratefully received

Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!
