Hi, linda-ann. I see you're a relative newbie to the MSE boards. It may help you to know that it is really easy to carry out a search for the info you're looking for.

At the top of the page, towards the right and just above the first post on the page, you can see "Search this thread". It is a really useful little tool, and always works much more efficiently for me than the Search facility for the whole site.

Click on "Search this thread", and, in this case, type in "Carpe diem". At time of writing, this will show ten posts in this thread where Carpe Diem has been mentioned.

Asaad has been kind enough to answer your question, I realise, but I just thought you (and others) may find this useful in the future.

and you lose them after 10000 I think its because there is no room after the discription of what you are.

Officially, the number of posts required to get an extra star is secret. Last time I got a star, I didn't notice, because it wasn't at any round figure, I suspect.

When I got the second star I went onto the lists that show how many posts people have and just checked out names at Key number 500, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000. From this I was able to figure out when the increase happens.

It was after reading Martins post that I decided to see if I could figure it all out.
