So many have joined in past few weeks and they just barge in!
Your doin a FANTASTIC job jules, keep it up.
Do we need a discussion thread now?
Soooooo many ppl r just lazy and just won't scroll back! ??0 -
Barging in ... ??? It's nothing new, unfortunately. Fair comment, but newbies have as much right as we oldies to post.
However, the multi-posting of answers, links, etc., is really getting on my wick, and it's rapidly turning me into a reader rather than a contributor. (OK - stop the cheering!!!)
I also think that the rush to be first to post answers is somewhat unbecoming, but then, I'm rather old-fashioned about manners.
anta, I'm sure you posted with the very best of intentions. You have also posted numerous repeat postings of answers over the last week or so. I should be really grateful for your contributions if they were first-time postings (as one of them was, if I remember rightly).
I'm sure that Jules' post was also completely well-intentioned.
As for me, I expressed myself in the last PB thread very gently. I'll be a little more direct this time ...
Please, fellow PB-ers, fellow MSE-ers, have the courtesy to read the entire thread before posting your "new" info!
OK. Hope all sides are happy. Thanks to all for their posts tonight. I'm 40 points better off, and more comps entered. That's what this thread is supposed to be about!

I only got 10 points for egg too
Will wait and see what response you receive before emailing them, seems pointless us all firing off emails if they are aware of problem.

I got 20 points for todays egg but I only got 5 points for a 10 point egg the other day - does it make a difference what time they're clicked on?
Thanks to all the people who post the links for quizzes on here - I've got less time to be on the net this morning and it makes it soooooo much easier to take part in all the quizzes!0 -
Anta, I think you've posted the wrong link for the egg. The previous poster has the correct page, perhaps thats why you couldn't find it.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0
