Good plan, but it won't work IMHO.
It's been tried with many other threads and people, especially newbies (and who can blame them) just get confused.
People will post 'chat' in the other thread and then there will be 4 or 5 seperate postings telling them that they have to post that in this thread, but then some kind soul will take pity on them and answer whatever question or query it was that they had and it will start all over again.
I personally like the original PB thread (not all the bickering I admit) but they tried this with the Boots thread and it was an unmitigated disaster.
A lot of people won't want to be bothering with two sepearte threads either so they'll either plonk their information in either thread or we'll miss out on something useful when someone decides it is all too much effort (understandibly)
What happened to the PB thread to make this happen, it was relatively harmonious up til a few weeks ago.
Of course all this is my opinion, not looking for an argument as I love PB and am always grateful to people posting links and info.2 angels in heaven :A0 -
