Hi,
Well, my boyfriend is officially BR today as of 12.05 and it really wasnt as bad as we were expecting.
Got to court at 9am with no appointment we were second in line and the clerk took his forms, went through them and asked him to sign and date certain parts then made him swear on holy bible that the info he had written was true to best of his knowledge.
We then had to wait to see Judge however after a 3 hour wait she then just stamped the papers without us seeing her and then after a further 2 hour wait (cause the clerk went to lunch) and after which he faxed the forms to the OR we were done. The OR spoke to my boyfriend for about 10mins saying she would be in contact in 2weeks.
After 5 hours we walked out and went for a late lunch and a stiff drink
Its still not hit us both yet that its all done but im sure like all of you who have already been through it, it will be a huge relief.
To those yet to go through this process, please do not worry its not the ordeal you are expecting and the support and help you receive from other members on this site is fantastic.
Thanks again to all those who have helped and answered my many questions :A

Hi, i am the one that went BR today TD's other half i just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who helped me & and girlfriend over the last couple of months you all been brillant with your advice & support .
Being made BR today still hasn't hit home , having 40k of debt amassed over 20 years from loans , top up loans, credit cards and then more loans
with no hope in hell of ever paying it all off has caused me so much stress upset and sleepless nights and then for the judge who i didn't even see just to stamp the BR forms is just so surreal i just cant believe it .
Finally i just want to say a big thank you again to everyone :T:beer:
