Very helpful... I should imagine the OP wants to hear from anybody who might be able to help him/her work out how much space 1300 IKEA books take up.

My answer would be that the IKEA book I have is a bit less than A4 in size, and about 7-8mm thick. Imagine 13 stacks about 80cm high, and you're getting there. HTH.

  • Hi there,

The typical Ikea catalogues comes in packs of 20 and are stacked on wooden pallet. A typical pallet is approx. 1500 copies and it is very heavy i.e. the pallet delivery company guy told me that it was near a tonne in weight.

For a rough guide - The catlaogues are stacked in a 5 x 3 pack arrangement. In terms of overall dimension - it is approximately 1.2-1.3 metres wide x 1.7-2metres in length. Height is dependent on how many copies you have - for 1500 copies it's approximately 1.2 metres tall. However if they are unpacked i.e. not on a pallet, then this is different.

    Hope that helps!

And where do I go to get a paid job delivering Ikea books? I don't doubt it pays relatively well, compared to surveys/etc.
