    I think its about 10 days, because i know if you buy something on the first day of the sale, the return period of 7 days run out before they get reduced further to 70%, if that makes sense, and i remember it being about that long usually.

    So you could buy something, then return it but you could then buy it back at the lower price? (I did this once at M&S and felt like the whole store was watching me - they weren't of course, but the price difference was about £8)!!!
