SOA "what was debt for" ?

Is it ok to put

consildation transfer to 0%
day to day, household
longterm debt card not used

most of the cards i have were from moving existing long term debt to a 0% deal, only generally used one or two cards and that was for things like groceries, or house stuff or a game from amazon for kids birthdays that sort of thing.

It just all crept up over the years and i only paid the minimum, when they hiked the intrest rates up recently over some 34% i really started struggling.:eek:

just not sure what to put on the online form you only have a little space for 5 or 6 words at most.

Thanks

  • Yes, that's fine, you can enter a fuller explanation at the end of the form. The OR and Judge will have heard it all before, and debts just creep up, especially with such a disgraceful 34%. All the best, you'll soon be sortedxxx

  • Thats great thank you ... :)

Yes seems every month a letter will pop through with the "under the terms of your agreement we are revising your current intrest rate, and reducing your credit limit oddly to the same amount as i owe!

I am so fed up with of loading debt from one card to another never knowing how i am going to repay, just closing my eyes and worring at night hoping it will go away, which of course it never does.

I am nervous but really glad to be doing something now and hope to never be in such a mess again.. No more credit, overdraft just pay for things with what i have or go without, feel so guilty for being in this mess

  • Yes, just get it all sorted and life will be much smoother and enjoyable with all that off your mind. I think we;ve all been there, using credit card to repay other credit cards. I was expecting horrors, but have recently got the year end discharge with absolutely no problems. It'll be fine xxx
