A book?????

My son wants a book he saw advertised last week. Roman...... something, he's forgotten author, a woman.The book is about if the Roman Empire hadn't fallen.
Any ideas?

there's one on amazon about the fall of the roman empire it's by Peter Heather, wonder if the heatehr bit stuck in memory?

Or there's an archaeological one on the end of the western roman empire by ellen swift on Tesco books

My son thinks the book may be one of the series in 'Roman Mysteries' by Caroline Lawrence. He read a book in the series called 'The Assassins of Rome', very excited about it.

He saw book advertised at B'ham railway station last week, so it may not even be on sale yet. I know a lot of books are advertised at stations, so if you see it please let me know.
