Redundant and opportunity to clear debts

Hi all,
Looking for a few opinions. I've just been made redundant, and whilst I'm not getting a huge amount in settlement it could well help clear some debts. My three monthly debts, all paid back to collection agencies are as follows:
£4,700 paid back at £110 per month
£400 paid back at £50 per month
£2,700 paid back at £50 per month.
The agnecy for 4,700 offered to settle at £2,650 earlier in the week during a completely irrelevant conversation. Is this the lowest they will go, should I try and negotiate lower?
Anyone have any idea of typical reductions to clear such debts, where should I start with my offer to clear?
Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated.

Say £2000 if you pay now!0

Why would you clear the debts rather than use the money to ensure you can afford to pay rent/mortgage/living costs until you find a new job.
It may be if you can't get a decent job that you will never have to repay these debts?
Sorry to sound pessimistic, but keep your options open.
