Which debt management agency to use?

I get bombarded with mail from loan and credit card companies but I can't even get e debit card or a cheque book for my bank account - and I have been out of trouble for 2 years now. Anyway in our time of need we used payplan, they were incredibly supportive and non-judmental and they sorted the problem for us.0

The rest of the companies who offer Debt Management Plans will take a fee from your mothly payment. Avoid these like you would bird flu!

There is another option, again a registered charity, again completely free but with the advantage that if they have a centre in your town / city they will visit you at home, they also have support workers in addition to the debt advisors who can be a lifeline when you are worrying.
They are Christians Against Poverty but you do not have to be Christian to be helped by them.
