Blimey OK!! I don't actually live in the UK so I want to get as much as done as early as I can so there's very little to do when I return to the UK for the wedding.

Sorry for the unneeded abruptness! Said in the nicest possible way of course! Another suggestion: At a recent wedding I went to, they had full jars of Cola Cubes, Pineapple Chunks etc on each reception table. Being almost pure sugar, they have a shelf life of around 2 years!

BTW I am getting married THIS August, and still need to get rings, outfits and arrange a reception!

Have you got any conections to any one who has a cash and carry card?

I have been in to Bookers today and the amount of sweets you can pick up dirt cheap in there is unreal. The love hearts were approx £9 for 3kg bag and i know my kids go mad for anything haribo so a retail pick n mix box is only £3.
:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

    DD 1994, DS 1996 AND DS 1997

Supposed to be a business owner, as my future FIL is a caterer he has now started to be flexible with us using his card - that and the fact he has just had a knee replacement so we are having to do his shopping anyway.

In case he gets tight with it once back on his feet we have stocked up on loads of stuff so over time will have saved quite abit. Its a shame we are having our buffet included in the wedding package cos some of the frozen desserts are to die for.

You can get a COSTCO card if you are any business owner, and if you are a civil servant!
