This is the Recession that the IMF were not predicting would occur, this time last year !!!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0

I might be inclined to agree with them. THIS recession over based on an artificial economy.
The next one popping along very shortly after, based on a real economy0 -

wish the IMF would just make up their mind and stick to their guns, rather than just changing their opinion every five minutes. worse than a woman!0

I suggest the IMF get a new crystal ball, the one they are using seems to be a fake.0

Same with all of them though!
However, they all need to change predictions as new stuff keeps popping along to give an artificial uplift to the economy, so you have to base these in to predictions.0 -

The last report I read from the IMF was that there was to be a contraction this year and growth next.
there was a discussion as to when growth will start i.e. in 6 months or 18 months.
I posted my thoughts that if it turns out to be true, I would have been expecting growth from end of Q2 2010.
Seems this is referring that the end of contraction is the end of this year and growth could start in Q1 2010.:wall:
