Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe for courgette chutney? We are definitely going to have a glut soon and I'd like to try to make this. I have only ever made chutney once so I don't feel confident doing this without some advice. Any yummy recipes welcome.
Many thanks

The first chutney I ever made was Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's Glutney.
I found it easy to do and it tasted really nice.

I use hugh's glutney chutney for courgettes, pumpkins and plums and it is always fabulous. I tried the one on allotment.org and it was good but not as fragrant as the glutney0

Hi
Also hunt out recipes for bread and butter pickles - sliced and spiced courgettes and onions mixed together. Yummy. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Yet another one who always uses Hugh's glutney. Tried others, but always go back to HFW.Away with the fairies.... Back soon0

I make a marrow chutney which is really nice and very popular - marrows are just big courgettes and you very often find some that seem to spring from nowhere overnight!

Will definitely try the HFW, I'd never even heard of bread and butter pickles - had to look them up - sounds good too.0
