hmmm tricky one, I too have become an ebay hater of late but its still probably the best place to sell stuff still despite rip off commission they take these days. So yeh I think you probably should sell stuff on there if you need to raise the cash hun but be prepared to get stressed with it all lol !!! I have heard people say goodstuff about gumtree but personally I have never used it. Could always try doing a car boot maybe or do your local paper have a free classified section? Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0 -
can't do a car boot up here as no car big enough to even fit a table in! Planning on doing one next summer for books, cds, dvds etc... that I can't sell on Amazon or Greenmetropolis. Ebay it is for now then...2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

following you too mamzie xxx
Its a shame there isnt a decent rival for ebay isnt it, they have such a monopoly hence why they have been able to get away with sticking high commission on now. Other thing that really really winds me up is when you try and list something and they have restricted postage charges. I listed something a couple of weeks ago and I had no choice but to offer free postage as it wouldnt let me do anything other. If it had gone for its start price of 99p I would have made a loss, now thats where its stupid, you cant send something for nothing so why expect the seller to charge nothing. Grrrr to ebay. It was an amazing thing a few years back but now its just there to take as much as they can get off youThanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0 -
