ikkle - thats really nice of you but I've been trying to vote for those slipping and i'm voting hundreds of times each day and you can see on there it's not having any difference, whoever's voting against us has either written a script to vote us down or has way too much time on their hands and is voting them all individually down hundreds of times every day (i'm really sorry I haven't voted yours back up cis, I've been struggling just with those on the first page with names I recognised from here other that those above my entry)

I know, I'm the same (even though I love vimto) I just love the feeling of something I've done has gone right that I get from winning, even little prizes like this. I really do think it's because when you look at it, it looks like you win the iphone/wii each month, you have to read the T&C's to find out what the prizes really are and lots of people don't, they cant be bothered:rolleyes:

I was talking about the Vimto comp with Katie earlier. It seems we are all feeling the same way. Everytime I go on my entry is lower and lower and i'm fighting a loosing battle to keep myself with 3 out of 10. Yet I found Katie's entry and voted for it about ten times and suddenly she'd jumped from about nine pages back to being in the top four above mine!

I realise it's averages, but that must show just how many people have been marking mine down every time they go on the page. It seems silly, there are ten prizes of vimto so why can't people just vote for themselves and not knock everyone else down. Seems the only way to win is to enter at the last minute before the law of averages works against you. I have one entry on there, I've used my forum name and I've not voted anyone else down. I will also admit that since I initially entered and voted for the other mser's whose names I recognised I've not voted for anyone else except katie. Perhaps we could get together and show a bit of unity for ten days and get ten mser's to the top, then next month find another ten mser's to win. But as has been said it is only 24 can's of vimto. Vimto themselves choose the winners in December from the looks of things and they will have a very specific idea of what picture they want to win that won't be swayed by our voting habits.

iv hardly touched the msn comp but normally go bed at 5am up at 7am

Thanks to you both, I was really starting to feel like I was imagining it but I didn't want to say anything (you might have noticed I don't like causing trouble) plus in a way I'm lucky, I can re-enter (well my OH can) as these comps view households as same name and address and we have different names. it's just so unfair on all of you, OH will be entering one month, around the 26th/27th and I hope you don't mind if I tell you all who he is (I'll be voting a lot to keep him up) and will vote for anyone else who needs me to as well every month anyway.

So, good luck to everyone, I hope whoever's done this gets their crate of vimto but loses out in the main draw
