Well that's OH's dinner sorted (pie and home-made chips ) - I'm still full from my cookery course so not eating this evening!

Just booked a couple of nights away in Stratford Upon Avon in August for when OH and I have some time off. Will be nice to get away and relax. It's the nights of 5th/6th, then on 7th we're at Silverstone for OH's Ferrari thing Gert gave us. Should be a good few days. I wanted to go and see a play at the RSC but OH things Shakespeare is boring oh well.

Now looking for a hotel for a couple of nights in London in October. Can you tell we both got paid this morning and also now we're back from the bike trip we had nothing really to look forward to holiday wise?!!

I've not got an MSN account and not going to create one for that so not going to bother with this one. Shame it's not snap as I remember it from the last two times. Will stick to normal comps for now. Hope you all win lots though!

A lot of the Shakespeare things at the RSC are quite boring... I've seen quite a lot of them and I guess it depends what's on but there are a lot that I wouldn't recommend! It's nice to go to though I guess if you're going to be in stratford anyway...

Just checking in and soon out. Well done all winners and hugs to those who need them. Hope all the poorly people get well quickly. Flaming MSN comp. played 3 times getting worse each time so I give up. And Vimto, why do peeps vote low deliberately to keep you off the top. I vote nicely if its good or not at all. Guess I've upset someone :p too but hey thats life:p

Sent grandson todays 18th B'day card.:o forgot stamp. He got card to say 'Parcel' at PO. ran 3/4 mile expecting present. Paid £1.30 and was :eek: A card from Nan. oops. with 9 G/kids could only send tenner. Lucky he saw funny side and DS,DDL and he were in hysterics cos he got £8.70. Gonna have to send small parcel now, poor lad.

I prefer the outdoor Shakespeare plays I think. Anyway there is no way OH will go to the RSC (or any other company!!) so I'll just have to lump it! He'll happily come and look at the museum etc with me though so that's good.

Ooo you there for a win too? Gert kindly donated the Ferrari one she won to OH so I could give it to him as a surprise for his birthday... he's really looking forward to it (and I'm extremely grateful to her!).

yeah I won one of the ones from the eric comp on facebook - it's a rally driving experience which I've given to OH as I haven't driven since I passed my test :eek:

Splodz thats the weekend the Bulldog Bash is on looks like you'll miss it with the dates your going.

Stratford will be VERY busy but its such a buzzing atmosphere, theyve done all the park out now, dont think the new RSC will be open for you though
