The Compers Inn - Part 22

Some of you are aware that the missus suffers from psychosis at times and that she is currently enduring a bout of it.
She was slowly improving but recently there has been a sharp deterioration in her condition.
On Sunday evening she was bombarded by voices and she ended up lying face down on the carpet having muttered conversations with them with tears and hyperventilation. It was really scary and I felt so helpless. Around 4am that night she woke up shaking, hyperventilaiting again and very frightened. She can never share with me what the voices are saying because the house is bugged and they are watching and we are in big trouble.
This morning she was wandering around the house muttering to herself and I guess the voices.
On a positive note we saw a shrink yesterday who changed her meds back to Olanzapine which she has taken before to good effect and he is giving us a Community Psychiatric Nurse.
I suppose I am coping but it is very wearing and I was encouraged when the shrink told me that there is no right or wrong way to behave towards her psychosis because she isn't thinking rationally when she has these episodes.:beer:Any war that lasts for longer than five years should be declared a draw.:beer:0 -

I never really left. It's just that the missus sometimes finds my posting threatening.
