DH just heard from his Mum who's been to see his Grandma. They are saying at the hospital that she is making big improvements, going to take her for a test on her kidneys soon (sometime over the next week hopefully) & if they come back clear she can come home but will need a lot more care than what she's got now. Please need your prayers that these tests are ok for her xxx

This in itself is fab news as were told to prepare for the worst & she might not come out at all, ever, so we are clinging to this now to get her home where she wants to be.

right, just read back and unpacked. glad most of you had good weekends. *hugs to those that haven't*

this weekend was great. Got back to Poole friday evening and instantly got taken out to the local club with my parents for my mum's actual birthday - she loved her DS Lite by the way Had a few drinks and a natter and back at a nice time.
Saturday the OH turned up so took him on a mini-tour of Poole - poole quay, baiter and Poole park for those that know the area. LOTS of walking and not much rain Headed back, showed him my house and got ready for the meal - we'd managed to keep the destination and the guestlist secret from her and it was lovely. very very nice food and wine and we even got free shots on the house (though probably as we hit about £350-400 for 8 of us.. oops but yay!) OH got to meet my aunt and uncle, who seemed to like him too They kept making digs at me that he'd only agreed to come down so he could ask my dad if he could propose.. *sigh* oh well. everyone enjoyed themselves
then today had a nice liein, then went for a wander in Bournemouth Gardens and on the beach. Lovely. Got back, got on the train and got back here

I have my shiny new Dell laptop! They've upgraded it without telling me! so it's worth more like £700 instead of the £400ish originally thought! woopie!
