:p Almost embarrassed to pop in but just had £200 worth of paintballing vouchers through the post - 3rd prize from Ministry of Competitions. You still have to pay £11.50 pp for the balls but that's nothing because lunch is free as well. Tim well chuffed with it!

Had a very good month this month - the comping fairy definitely looking over me. Am passing her on now because feel I have done well and time for someone else to have the luck :A:A:A

Hope lots of you are winning too. Just entered first of my Pepsi pulls and it was LTM. But it won't take the second code - and I have text it three times. Will probably have massive charge on my phone bill if I keep doing it so I am going to try it online.

DD1 has taken a can with her to water sports today and I have text her to ask her to keep it for me!!!!

    Love and luck all

    Ru xxxxx

nothing to do with me - just heard some people yelling outside so opened the balcony t have a look and some police were yelling at one of the guys that works in one of the shops opposite. Then they started having a go at him for being aggresive (he really wasn't, I could hear exactly what was being said) and they started shouting at him - pushed him over towards their police van and he started explaining and pointing out that they were wrong and they were just like 'we can take you down the station and let you sit in the cells' - then the decided to put him in the back of the van (obviously just to prove a point). eventually let him out again and cotninued being aggresive towards him. Eventually let him go back to his shop. But they were just power tripping showing him that they could do what they wanted. This was just over a stupid parking thing but the police van has been parked in the same place unattended for 2 hours so it's obviously not causing that much obstruction!

Sorry similar thing happened when I was with my bf for a different reason with police being aggrerssive towards him and whatever he said they just twisted it - was completely ridiculous they just thought because of our age we would be up easy to work up and give them something to do - didn't count on use being clever enough to just not go for it

But yeah the thing just now has added to my annoyance with the police as the guy had none nothing to deserve being treated like that!

Glad to hear it, just the last 3 either me or my bf have come across then. 2 incidents in 2 different cities and neither of us look like we are trouble makers  Sorry would love to have faith in the police and maybe one day my faith will be restored but not for now.. I feel less and less safe when police are around which isn't how it's meant to be! In fact make that 3 incidents, one was years and years ago though when were about 15. Sorry ranting and I'm sure the police have been a great help to lots of people.

    On a happier note...

my mum just rang to let me know she had won tickets to the Green Man Festival - she was so excited to have won a competition which she entered all on her own bless her :D Was from Clash music magazine and apparently they phoned last week and she phoned them back immediately but no one answered and kept trying but still no one answered. She phoned back again today and got through and they told her the tickets had gone. She was quite upset and phhoned back again and explained that she had phoned back within the time given many times but no one had answered so they said they'd see what they could do. Apparently the tickets she won were originally for Lattitude but they hadn't got anymore so they gave her these instead which she's even happier with :j Well done Clash Music PR people :)

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm thinking the BT engineer lied to my OH!

I made OH phone them about the phone problem incase it was the line that'd gone funny and he said they told him they tested the line and detected a problem in the house, they're phoning back later to see if we've solved it (got a new phone) but as soon as he emailed me to say this I checked the phone just incase and it's working now....whatever the BT guy did, fixed it..................oh well, I should just be happy I have my phone back, now to wait for ITV to call :rotfl:
