    1 Dont panic.

    2. Take all the papers that you have been sent and any that you want to put in.

    3. Tell the truth and the Judge will decide.

Just one prob with it is that the CSA have put in a letter to me that they are not bound by the decisions of an Appeal, news to everyone, so bear that in mind.

Good advice. I would add that you should also prepare and this depends on whether it's your appeal or not. You need to be clear on your reasons and have any supporting evidence, this could include the CS Acts. Having someone pick holes in this before the appeal would be useful so that you are not surprised.

If the appeal outcome is not satisfactory take it to the tribunal. They and you will be bound by the results of that.

That is the Higher Tribunal, The Commisioners as was. If you think that they are wron on a point of Law as well that you can go to teh Court of Appeal, been there done that.

First time in the High Court, scared the Sh*t out of me, had to go back and it is no different from anyonet Court!

Just remember 'Don't Panic' and dont have a drink before going in, just water, save the rest for afterwards which ever way it goes!!!

If it is an Appeal Tribunal, you will be given the option of either an oral hearing or a sitting. It is usually advisable to ask for a sitting as you can then clarify any points and argue your cause.

At Tribunal there is a Chairman who is usually a senior solicitor acting as Judge, you will sit around a table, there will be yourself (and 1 other if agrred with Tribunal) also a CSA Rep, and the opposing party (and their 1 other of choice if approved by Chairman).

It is less formal than a Court, but points are the same, the CHairman will go through your appeal, clarifying points with all parties, he will usually make a decision and let ou know immediately following retirement for consideration. Hope this helps.

Been there done it - won the cse, another one pending!
