King Kong (2 disc version) £9.75

Speech-Mark-Left.gif Official Insert:

Asda has confirmed it's selling the 2 disc version of King Kong in store for £9.75 until 16 April. It's available in all stores that have an entertainment section, which should be most of them. This is currently cheaper than the cheapest place online though it's worth checking Find-dvd, which tracks online DVD sales, first to see if it's still the cheapest before you make the trip to Asda.

Just seen an advert in todays News of The World that ASDA will be having the 2 disc version of King Kong on offer for £9.75.

This price is only until 16th April then it will go back up to the retail price, not a bad price for the high street as you may find it cheaper on the internet but if you cannot wait for an internet delivery it's worth picking it up at a cheap price

WH Smith have it on offer for £11.99 but you have to spend £20 instore to get it at that cheap price and Tesco have it for just under £10 but you need to buy any other DVD of CD to get the special price so all in all the ASDA offer seems quite good

ASDA will probably only let you purchase 1 DVD just in case anyone wants to purchase one for a present or a friend etc, I tried to purchase 2 copies of FIFA for a friend and was told it is one item per person

Just picked up a copy from my local store for £9.75. Didnt see any signs saying there was a limit of 1 per customer, and if going through the checkouts cant see the assistant saying anything.

Morrisons are also doing the 2 disc special edition for £9.99
  • Just got my copy from Woolworths for £7.95.

It is on offer for £11.99 if you spend £20 or more, but my friendly little till operator put it through on the wrong promotional code and it went through as a half price roaring Kong (???) for £7.95 - result!
  • Hey Guys

Just got back from my local ASDA ( Spondon, Derby ) and as I was walking out I heard an announcement that they are selling King Kong on DVD for £9.75, and also selling the King Kong PS2 game for £19.97, however the guy mentioned that if you bought the PS2 game then you would get the DVD for free, Thats the Movie and the PS2 game for under 20 quid.
I dont know if its just My store thats doing it or a nationwide thing, but it might be worth people checking if thats what they are looking for, I didnt take up the offer as its not my thing, but if someone wants both then that seems like a very good deal.
    Good luck
