Not sure why but I am nervous about buying reduced meat at the supermarket!

most stores keep a log of faulty items, so just ring them up (i know its the cost of call) and then the next time you go instore get your refund then (just make a note of when you phoned so they can find it easily) - i dont make a special trip just to get my money back

Morrisons once asked me to return some off fish (i said it wouldnt be in for at least a week or two), but they wouldnt budge, so i sealed it in some tupperware at home, and then emptied it it back into the bag just before going into the store - you should have seen their faces - but they havent asked me since, to return 'off' food lol

I wouldnt buy meat from the supermarket full stop. I buy from the local butchers its often cheaper and you get advice and help. Thats his job he is there for you!

Butchering is a skill.
