Hi there thank you for all your recent help I am trying to sort out debts etc with the help of the Citizens advice couldanyone tell me if they have made a full & final payment of less than the full amount to Black Horse. We have just phoned them and one of our debts is down to £252.65 for a missed car payment when we were handing the car back when we first became unemployed we are paying £1.00 a month but the daughter has offered to help us pay some stuff off as we are sinking fast with all this debt. Black Horse have said they do not reduce debt for full and final payments has anyone ever done this?
Thank you again for any advice.

I would strongly advise you to not make these agreements over the phone.
You should write to them with the offer (letters are available on the board) stating the amount you can offer and that the offers is in "full and final settlement".After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
they do make full and final settlements as I have been offered 25% off a debt. Always do it in writing though.DFW 228 LONG H 68
