Fudge Madness!!!!

In a moment of sheer madness last week I ordered two (not one, but TWO!!) fudge making kits from QVC - I don't know why - I just got swept along by the presenter drooling over this fudge that was being made on the show and I thought "Oh that will be a lovely mother-daughter easter activity" and I succumbed and paid over £40 :o:o:o for two kits - one for each DD. The presenter said that it was all natural, full of fine ingredients and no artifical additives or nasties. When the stuff came I read the label on the mix and it is full of hydrogenated palm oil, flavouring etc. and when we made it (DD lost interest after two minutes so I ended up making it) it was REVOLTING - sickly sweet and greasy and yuck!! Anyway QVC boast that they have a 30 day money back guarantee but you have to send the stuff back at your own cost. The two parcels (even minus the two packets of mix I used out of the 16) weighs over 5 kilos. As I live just down the road from the QVC warehouse I thought I would return it myself but they don't accept stuff at the warehouse and the return address is PO Box 670...... Does anyone know how I can find out where that is and how would I return stuff by hand to it?
This is why I need this site.... I am such a sucker for a good sales pitch.......

Have you tried ringing them up to ask where you can hand deliver it?

    Phone them!

Tell them that you bought the kits as you were assured that they contained natural ingredients and it was only after your daughter had made one that you realised that they were unsuitable to eat due to the additives in them (don't mention the taste, stress that you were misled as to the ingredients). In reality you bought a product which wasn't as described.

Leave the ball in their court, they 'can' arrange for the items to be returned to them at their cost if you're claiming that you've been mis sold the item. If they pass the buck back to you then tell them that you are very disappointed with the product and you are disgusted that they are suggesting that you return it at your own expense.

You don't have to say anything other than that, keep your point that the item was NOT as it was described, stick to that point and let them give you a solution.
Just run, run and keep on running!

Surely QVC must have a fudge packer they can send round to collect it from you?
  • If you phone QVC and tell then you want to return them they will send you out pre paid postage labels as i have done this before, good luck :rotfl:
